The major benefit of a well-functioning bureaucracy is greater efficiency: A clear division of labor and an established hierarchy help your organization perform as one. But Bureaucracy is simply unable to cope in this new rapidly changing world. It was never intended to. It’s not agile enough. It’s not that bureaucracy is inherently bad. It’s just that bureaucracy doesn’t fit today’s world.
