OKR vs. KPI
It is only natural that people question the difference between OKR vs. KPIs. OKRs are not equal to KPIs. While KPIs are a key figure for the success driver of a company, OKRs define quarterly goals (Objectives) and corresponding Key Results.

Why should we sprint if we deliver continuously?
"Why would I limit myself to shipping only once every two weeks? and if so , why do i a need a sprint?
As far as the Scrum Guide is concerned you must deliver working software at least every 30 days, but there is nothing to stop you doing it more frequently than that. Indeed continuous delivery and Scrum go together quite well ".

The Agile Fluency Model Explained
The Agile Fluency Model (AFM) was first introduced in 2011–2012, by Jim Shore and Diana Larsen. Shore and Larsen recognized a problem back then which still persists today — there are far too many organizations where Agile transformations fail or at the very least do not provide the benefits that were expected when they started on their Agile journey. There is no right destination on the pathway to Agile Fluency. Investment at any point along the pathway to Agile Fluency can yield benefits.

"Our challenge is dealing with faux -agile"
"Faux-agile: agile that's just the name, but none of the practices and values in place. Ron Jeffries often refers to it as "Dark Agile", or specifically "Dark Scrum". This is actually even worse than just pretending to do agile, it's actively using the name "agile" against the basic principles of what we were trying to do, when we talked about doing this kind of work in the late 90s and at Snowbird." Martin Fowler.

How Microservices Aid Agile ?
"a Gartner study from 2016 found that approximately 68 percent of organizations were either investigating or developing a microservice architecture" At its core, microservice architecture involves developing software applications using smaller modular services rather than building software as one, large unified block of code called monoliths. Microservice architecture offers better agility in terms of deploying updates as and when required. Since microservices are loosely coupled, developers can add new features and upgrades without having to upgrade the entire system.
What are the Kanban Cadences?
"How does it happen that all living beings, from a single cell organism to a human body, know how to grow, adapt to an environment, simply keep living? Even if each cell is a complex and relatively independent piece of machinery, a synchronization at a higher level (tissues, organs) is achieved by receiving and processing external signals with senses and using internal biochemical feedback loops to assure alignment."

How to On boar a newly agile hire?
The process of getting up to speed and becoming a new team members is called "On-boarding". There is a lot of verity over the on-boarding approach for agile teams and employees, and a lot to on-board : culture, team process, team norms, project management , business , product relations , different roles and responsibilities.

The Helicopter Manager will ruin your business
Helicopter managers hover, control and stunt growth, independent thinking and progress. These are the managers who make most or all of the decisions for their employees. helicopter managers mean well. But by micromanaging every aspect of people’s jobs, they stunt the growth and development of their employees. And in doing so, drastically limit what the organization as a whole can achieve.

Are OKR's Agile?
So although we have been using Agile/Lean mindset and processes tactically, we are still using waterfall mindset and processes for goal setting. This needs to change.
OKR (Objectives and Key Results) is a goal setting framework created by Intel and adopted by several Silicon Valley companies. OKR align the organization in incremental and iterative manner to its goals.

Using Scaled Agile Framework-style “big-room” Planning approach. HowTo.
The main deliverable in a SAFe big-room planning session is a Program Board, which is essentially a sprint-by-sprint breakout of the work for all of the teams in the Program Increment. It can depict dependencies and assumptions, but it’s basically the plan for the quarter (five two-week sprints or so). The plan would include the What — what we’re mean to build and why we’re building it — as well as the How — the technical approaches, working agreements and roles of the people doing the work.

How to Calculate Agile Project Budgets ?
According to a survey conducted by the Harvard Business Review, 17% of IT projects exceed costs by 200%. This is due to the desire to make an exact estimate for the entire project before starting work. ANY estimation or budget given before the actual work is done, is always an educated “guesstimate”. The fault tolerance of the budget depends on the experience and the risk associated with the particular project at hand. “Budgeting agile projects is impossible because of the nature of agile projects”. so how should we do it?

Quality without QA in an Agile team. Howto?
"The TEAM owns quality. So if the TEAM owns quality, why would we only ask ONE person on the team to do the testing? Many teams have made strides on this front by asking their testers to bring the rest of the team on board with testing. This certainly helps to share the ownership of quality throughout the team, and if your teams haven’t done this yet, I’d strongly recommend it."Matt Dominici

What is killing QA in agile? Or is it just an obvious change?
"QA is indeed being killed by agile. That’s because traditional lab and outsourced testing are too slow to keep up with agile sprint and release cadences." Forbs

What does a "Leadership in a VUCA World." means?
Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity. An increasing inability to grasp the world and deal with the things happening around us. "VUCA" is gaining popularity as a term to cover the various dimensions of this ‘uncontrollable’ environment. In VUCA managers need to adapt the way to navigate.

What is agile leadership?
"We may think that Agile Leadership is just “Good Leadership” and we have just added ”Agile”. This is not the case. Agile Leadership feels very different from traditional leadership. The differences are in leadership style and the willingness to expand capacity and extend capabilities to be more Agile. This also feels very different to leadership where leaders are going through the motions of just doing Agile because of some wider directive." (2)
How financial institutes go agile?
Incorporating and embracing agile transformation is no longer a “nice to have” for businesses, it’s a must—especially for financial services companies. They are typically large, complex organizations. they are highly regulated and highly centralized with hierarchical structure.
In order for financial services companies to keep their services in demand, they must embrace agile transformation.

Doing agile Vs. Being agile
"There’s no question that Doing Agile by itself leads to certain benefits: improved communication and visibility, some increases in productivity, the ability to set priorities with intent as conditions change.
But the transformation benefits occur from Being Agile, b, consistently, predictably responding quickly in the face of change, delighting customers and achieving excellence through engaged employees all working together towards common goals."

Why Testing in Production and how?
"While testing early in the pipeline (i.e., shift-left testing) is necessary and highly encouraged, it's simply not enough on its own.
By testing in production, you build another level of confidence in releases after performing various checks in a live production environment. Testing in production allows the company to see how an application reacts to newly pushed code changes in the wild. It should become a significant component of your future application quality strategy going forward."

Modern Product Discovery comes with a different set of assumptions.
"A separation between product discovery on the one side (product management), and product delivery (engineering) on the other side is nowadays no longer a viable approach. To prevail in today’s game of an accelerated innovation-based competition — software is eating the world — , every organization needs to acquire a holistic understanding of an agile product creation process"
