Agile Development in Legacy Projects



Working with legacy systems is a common, and often very frustrating, reality of software development. There are often a wide variety of problems with legacy code and data. Such code might well be an asset to your organization, but it weighs ever more on the liability side of the ledger. We all have to overcome it, in one way or another so it’s better to accept this fact, gain the skills that we need to succeed, and then get on with the work. How proper application of agile methods and pest practices can help reduce risk and increase our chance of success.
