Criticism can be a useful self-management barometer. But, an
unwanted, yet all too common consequence of criticism is discouragement.
There's a fine line between ignoring the views of other people and being
seriously affected by absolutely everything they have to say. Finding and
maintaining a balance is the key. People who have difficulty dealing criticism
are less likely to succeed in their profession. Knowing to deal with criticism
and to identify best practices of giving one , is a required coaching skill .
